- the story is too long to be read in the presentation = keep it like a live trailer and keep to 30secs.
- Why isn't Uma using the products the whole way through the book? could this be revised.
- Demonstrate in the presentation all aspects of the product e.g. canopy, dress up and book + how they are used together and separately. + what is the functionality of playcloth? show us how these work e.g. velcro, elastic etc! hang it to things, use sticks.
- Get Uma to do these things maybe in the book or in the powerpoint presentation. Photograph / photoshop scenes.
- If reading the book at the start introduce the mindset - 'its storytime' let people know how to feel for the next 30seconds.
- Use the presentation time wisely.
- Put more in the pitch = talk about the story and the kit is great but you need to sell it as a product more. Talk about the accessories as well. How can this product grow?
- the opportunity for more books, more products and accessories to keep the product moving forward (TALK ABOUT THIS HEAPS)
- Have the product in action at Capital E, The Library, at the events etc. Photograph or photoshop.
- Remember this is a business presentation -- tell us about the team, who are we and what are we interested in?
- As a packaged product show this on the presentation some super nice pictures. How will you sell this?
- During the presentation give out the product for the investors to look at it while we discuss its features.
- Discuss all the adventures that the child could go on so the investors know how valuable this product is.
