Our design Idea

From our meeting this week we wrote a small description of our idea:

" Pop up adventure aims to encourage imaginative play and creativity for children and their peers. In response to children having a focus on technology, pop up adventures engage in physical play inside and out. Al aspects of pop up adventures from building their play structure to reading the corresponding story, can be done individually and guided from an adult. "

We also made some decisions on our product and what it contains-

First up for purchase is a package containing the structure kit, a surface designed 'scene' canopy and a corresponding book to the 'scene' to guide the play.

Add on packs are also available for purchase after the main kit is bought to 'collect' other play scenes. These add on packs would contain a different surface designed 'scene' canopy and a corresponding book to the 'scene' to guide the play.

At the moment we are thinking of designing a 'Jungle' and an "under the sea" themed canopy and corresponding book but the range could further.

Stuffed main character toys and main character dress ups have also been thought about.

We had a brainstorm about who our characters could be and what personas they will have to bring different elements to the story. We have decided to have two iconic animals as the main characters. We would like to bring an educational side to the story also with guides of how to keep safe when 'adventuring'!
